Tk Kayembes passion for music took recognizable shape when he began playing piano at the young age of four. Growing up in a multicultural household in Saint Louis, MO, he was fortunate to be introduced to a myriad of musical genres and instruments, and has since become proficient in just about every major instrument he can find. In 2009 he began producing using strictly Native Instruments MASCHINE, which he continues to use to this day. In early 2012, Tk was signed to Paper Diamonds label Elm & Oak, and shortly after produced the hit single Werkin Girls for Angel Haze which was released through Universal/Motown & Island Records UK. His sound can be described as high energy club music with Dirty South 808s melded with titillating, hyper-sexual elements. Tk has shared the stage with phenomenal artists such as Salva, Amp Live, Doodlebug (Digable Planets), Fat Lip (Pharcyde), Kraddy, Minnesota, and Two Fresh, and has played major festivals such as Electric Forest Festival, River Beats, and more. His first official EP, Naughty Water, is set to release through ClubTapes.com in December of 2012, with a follow-up EP dropping in early 2013.
